- 48 graham crackers, halves
- 34 cup butter (do not use low-calorie spreads) or 34 cup margarine (do not use low-calorie spreads)
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 34 cup chopped nuts
Directions

1Carefully break graham crackers into 'fingers'.

2Line a large cookie sheet with sides or jelly roll pan with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.

3Arrange crackers side-by-side on sheet in rows with edges touching.

4Place butter and sugar in a saucepan and boil about 2 minutes, or until thick and bubbly.

5Pour this syrup over crackers, spreading evenly to completely cover.

6Sprinkle finely chopped nuts over top.

7Bake at 350 degrees F for about 5 to 8 minutes (you should see bubbles over entire area, and light brown color).

8Remove from oven and cool a moment.

9With a spatula, remove from pan and place onto waxed paper to cool.
