- 1 1/2 c. grated or ground pecans or walnuts
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix nuts, salt and sugar; add unbeaten egg white, working it in well; add more nuts if mixture seems thin.

2Roll into tiny balls (size of nickel) and place on a cookie sheet greased with butter.

3Bake at 300°

4for 20 minutes.

5Let cool before removing from cookie sheet.

6Makes 24 to 36 cookies.
