  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cake yeast
  • 4 eggs, beaten lightly
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together and add more flour if needed for a soft dough.

    Let raise about 2 hours.

    Divide in parts.

    Roll out one at a time and dab with melted butter.

    Sprinkle with sugar, 3 handfuls, and cover with 1/2 cup ground nuts.

    Roll into long rolls and bake on greased cookie sheet at 350° for 25 minutes, until light brown.
