Nut Roll(Makes 4 Big Ones)

Ingredients

  • 6 c. flour
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cakes yeast, crumbled in 1 c. warm water
  • milk
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Mix flour, butter, sugar and salt

    together.

    Add yeast crumbled in warm water and milk.

    Beat together with eggs; knead everything well.

    Roll and flatten and put 4 pieces in wax paper. Refrigerate 1/2 hour wrapped up.

    Roll out.

    Fill with crushed nuts, melted butter and warm milk.

    Bake at 350°

    for about 40 minutes.

    Brush top with beaten whole egg before baking.
