- 1 1/2 cakes yeast
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 4 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 lb. ground nuts
Directions

1Crumble 1 1/2 cakes yeast with 2 tablespoons lukewarm water; set aside 5 minutes.

2Beat 4 egg whites until stiff with 1 cup sugar blended in with ground nuts for filling.

3Add butter, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 whole eggs and sour cream, then add sifted flour.

4Mix altogether well.

5Cut dough in 3 pieces, roll dough out on floured table.

6Spread nut filling on dough; roll out, then pinch sides together.

7Let rise 1 hour.

8Brush beaten egg over rolls; bake 1/2 hour in 350° oven.

9Makes 3 rolls.
