Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) of albacore tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 1 egg white or 2 tbsp liquid egg whites
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp diced onion
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste (not included in nutritional info above)

Directions

    1. Blend all ingredients, except the cheese, in a small bowl.

    2. Preheat a frying pan and lightly coat with a cooking spray.

    3. Form two patties from the tuna mixture and place them in the pan.

    4. Cook one side until brown and then turn.

    5. When the second side is nearly done, lightly sprinkle on the cheese.
