- 1 cup oat bran
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1/3 cup non-fat powdered milk
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup egg substitute
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Preheat oven 350 degrees F.

2Spray 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with pan spray.

3Mix oat bran, dates,dry milk, molasses, hot water, butter and egg substitute in large bowl; Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Spread into prepared pan, bake 30-40 minutes; until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

5Cool 5 minutes, loosen sides; remove from pan let cool completely before slicing.
