- 12 cup shortening
- 12 cup margarine
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 12 cups rolled oats (I used quick oats)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Cream together shortening, margarine and sugar.

2Dissolve baking soda in warm water.

3Add this to the creamed mixture.

4Add flour and salt and combine.

5Mix in rolled oats.

6Roll on floured board.

7I roll to 1/4 inch thick or slightly less.

8Cut into squares with a knife.

9I cut into 3x3 squares.

10Bake at 350 F for 10-15 min or until edges are slightly crispy.
