- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. boiling water
- 5 to 6 c. flour
Directions

1Combine oatmeal, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, salt and margarine.

2Pour boiling water over this and mix well.

3When mixture is cooled to lukewarm combine yeast and warm water and add to cooled mixture.

4Sti rin enough flour to make soft dough; knead until smooth.

5Let rise in greased bowl, then shape into 2 loaves. Let rise, then bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
