  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 5 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Combine water, oatmeal, vegetable oil, Karo syrup and salt. Cool to lukewarm.

    Add yeast and mix well.

    Blend in eggs.

    Add flour and mix until dough is well blended.

    Place dough in greased bowl and cover.

    Store in refrigerator at least 1 1/2 hours.
