  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Beat first 5 ingredients together with a spoon or mixer.

    Add next 3 ingredients, then add oats and pecans.

    Drop on a greased cookie sheet, about a teaspoon for each cookie.

    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.

    Cool and store in a tin to keep them crisp.
