Oatmeal Haystack Cookies

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. canned milk
  • 3 c. Quaker oats
  • 1 c. mini-marshmallows
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. butter

Directions

    In a large mixing bowl place uncooked oatmeal and set aside. In a medium pan mix together sugar, cocoa, canned milk and butter. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

    Add mini marshmallows and stir until well blended.

    Add vanilla.

    Pour over the oatmeal and mix together with a fork until it is well mixed.

    Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.

    Let stand at room temperature overnight.
