- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg (unbeaten)
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. soda
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1/3 c. chopped dates
- 1/3 c. nuts
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients and beat thoroughly.

2Sift flour with soda.

3Add to first mixture.

4Mix well.

5Add remaining ingredients and mix.

6Drop level tablespoon of dough on greased baking sheet.

7Bake in 350° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

8Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
