- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. Quaker oats
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugars.

2Add and beat well, eggs and vanilla.

3Add and mix in sifted flour and dry ingredients.

4Mix in oatmeal and nuts.

5Roll in balls.

6Bake on greased sheet 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.
