  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Cream together margarine and sugar, add cinnamon, cloves and salt.

    Stir in syrup.

    Add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition until blended, stir in rolled oats into mixture.

    Pour into pie shell and bake for about one hour or until knife inserted into center of pie comes out clean.
