Ingredients

  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • 3 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 lb Meat (Pork, Chicken Breast, etc.)

Directions

    Place shredded cabbage and meat into a large bowl (can pre-cook meat, if desired)

    Add flour, eggs, and water to the bowl and mix with a whisk until all ingredients form a doughy paste and eggs are well incorporated

    Add cooking spray or olive oil to a medium frying pan and heat on the stove on high
  4. 4
    Once the pan is hot, lower the heat to medium-high and add a large scoop of the batter to the pan

    Let the Okonomiaki cook until the edges begin to look dry, and then flip to cook the other side with a spatula

    Make sure both sides/the meat inside are fully cooked before removing from the pan

    Add mayonnaise and Okonomiaki sauce on top to taste, and ready to serve!
