- 3 lb. baby okra
- vinegar
- several pods hot pepper
- dill weed
Directions

1Wash okra.

2Leave small amount of stem on okra.

3Pack into sterilized pint jars, standing on end to get as many okra pods in jars as possible.

4For hot pickles, add 1 pod of hot pepper to each jar.

5For dill pickles, add sprig of dill weed to each jar. Boil vinegar; add 1/4 cup to each jar.

6Add 1/2 teaspoon salt to each jar.

7Finish filling jar with boiling water.

8Seal jars while hot.

9Ready to eat in about 2 weeks.
