- 3 1/2 lb. small okra pods
- 7 cloves garlic
- 7 small fresh hot peppers
- 1 qt. water
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. pickling salt
- 2 tsp. dill seed
Directions

1Pack okra tightly into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.

2Place a garlic clove and a hot pepper in each.

3Combine water, vinegar, pickling salt and dill seed in a saucepan; bring to a boil.

4Pour boiling vinegar mixture over okra, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.

5Remove air bubbles; wipe jar rims.

6Cover at once with metal lids and screw on bands.

7Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
