- 2 c. sugar
- 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 1 heaping Tbsp. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and cornmeal; stir in butter, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.

2Mix well; pour into pie shell.

3Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

4Reduce oven temperature to 325°; bake for 30 minutes longer.

5Cover pie with foil, if necessary, to prevent burning.
