Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. each vanilla and almond flavorings
  • 2 to 3 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (9-inch) baked pie crust

    Slowly stir in the boiling

    Bring to a boil and cook

    gently until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove pan from
