- 1/4 lb. uncooked beef liver
- 1/8 lb. uncooked beef suet
- medium size onion
- 1 egg
- 8 Tbsp. sweet basil
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
- 3 c. sifted plain flour
- 3/4 c. beef stock or broth from cooked beef roast
- 1 Tbsp. coriander (ground)
Directions

1Grind liver, suet and onion with food chopper.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Mix with a spoon to a stiff dough.

4Heat remainder of beef stock (about 2 quarts; add water to make this amount, if necessary) to a hard boil.
