- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. oleo, softened
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Grease twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin pan cups; set aside.

3In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients; mix well.

4Using pastry blender, cut in oleo and shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs.

5Combine milk, vanilla and eggs. Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring just until moistened. Do not overmix.

6Spoon batter into prepared cups, filling each 3/4 full.

7Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan to cooling rack.

8Serve warm.
