  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 10 eggs, separated

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add egg yolks one at a time.

    Add flour.

    Whip egg whites until soft peaks form.

    Fold into batter. Bake in tube pan in cold oven at 325° for one hour and 15 minutes. Add glaze (powdered sugar and milk) while still hot.
