- 4 c. skim milk
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/4 c. sugar or more if desired
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. raisins
- ground nutmeg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2In a lightly greased 2-quart casserole, combine milk, rice, sugar and salt.

3Bake, uncovered, for two hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

4Add raisins during the last 30 minutes of baking.

5Stir in surface crust.

6Upon standing, rice will absorb milk remaining in casserole.

7Sprinkle with nutmeg.
