Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 2 large eggs or 3 small eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Heat milk and add cooked rice.

2Beat eggs, and add sugar, vanilla and raisins.

3Combine with rice and milk mixture.

4Pour in baking dish and dot with margarine.

5Set dish in pan of hot water.

6Bake at 450° for 20 minutes.

7Lower heat to 300° and bake until custard is firm (about 15 to 20 minutes).

8Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.

9Serves 8 to 10.
