Olive Dip

  • 1/2 c. walnut or pecans
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar pimiento-stuffed green olives, drained (reserve the juice)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing

Directions

    Place nuts in processing bowl of a food processor.

    Grind until the nuts are finely chopped.
  3. 3
    Transfer to mixing bowl. Place the drained olives in the food processor; grind.

    Put the olives on top of the nuts in mixing bowl.

    Place cream cheese and mayonnaise in food processor; blend well.

    While processor is running, add olive juice and blend well.

    Add cream cheese mixture to nuts and olives.

    Stir to blend.

    Refrigerate until served. Serve with assorted crackers.
