- 2 lb. ground beef
- 6 c. sliced potatoes
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced green pepper
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown and drain ground beef.

2Place in a 6-quart casserole. Layer potatoes, onion, pepper, celery salt and pepper.

3Then pour tomato juice and water into casserole.

4Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 to 2 hours until potatoes are fork-tender.

5Remove lid last 1/2 hour to reduce liquid.

6This will cook faster if ingredients are stirred before cooking.
