- 1 large onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 c. chopped potatoes
- 1 lb. raw ground beef
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. rice
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
Directions

1Slice the onion in bottom of a large casserole. Put the other ingredients in layers over the onion.

2Pour the tomatoes over the top.

3Place strips of bacon on top of the tomatoes.

4Cook, covered, 2 hours at 300°.

5Uncover and cook 30 minutes.

6Makes a great Sunday dinner.
