- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Put 1/2 cup sugar in black skillet and heat until it melts. Heat 1 1/2 cups sugar, butter and milk.

2When hot, add the sugar you have melted and cook for 1 minute after it begins to boil. Remove from heat.

3Add vanilla and salt.

4Beat until smooth enough to go on cool cake.
