One Pot Chicken Dinner

  • 2 cans green beans
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 6 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • seasoning salt
  • grated cheese

Directions

    In the bottom of a deep pot (6-quart) or a deep casserole dish, place onions and celery and mix.

    Put seasoned chicken on top of onions and celery.

    Layer sliced potatoes, then mushrooms, then green beans.

    In a bowl, mix 2 cans mushroom soup with 1 1/2 cans water and pour over layered mixture.

    Place in a 350° oven and cook 1 hour or until chicken is done, if using other cuts of chicken.

    Remove from oven. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Place back into oven until cheese melts.
