Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 pork chops
  • potatoes
  • 1 can sauerkraut
  • 1 c. or more white wine (to your taste; may also use 1/2 wine and 1/2 orange juice)
  • rosemary sprigs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Place pork chops in bottom of large casserole that has a lid. Peel potatoes and slice about 1/8-inch thick and arrange over the top of meat.

    Drain and rinse sauerkraut and put over top of the potatoes.

    Pour wine over top.

    Top with a few sprigs of rosemary, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover and bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until meat is done and tender and potatoes are tender.
