- 4 cups japanese rice Steamed/Cooked
- 8 strips nori
- 8 salmon Ume, Pickled Plums or Grilled
- salt
- soy sauce
Directions

1Steam or Cook the Japanese rice, the rice should be firm and slightly sticky.

2Allow Rice to cool for about 2-3 minutes.

3Dip hands in water and sprinkle salt on the palms.

4Place 2-3 Tablespoons of rice into palm of hand.

5Press the Ume or Grilled Salmon into the middle of the mound and add more rice on top.

6Toss the mound back and forth between your palms to make a triangle shape.

7Place a strip of Nori around the base of the onigiri vertically to cover both sides about 1/2 of the way up.

8Add Soy Sauce (Or not, your choice) and Enjoy!
