Ingredients

  • 4 c. Vidalia onions
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 1/4 c. cornbread stuffing mix (plain or herb)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Cook onions and margarine until onions are transparent.

    Mix other ingredients and place in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Mix stuffing with 2 tablespoons margarine and spread over casserole. Bake in oven at 300° until bubbly and brown.
