- 4 large onions, sliced very thin
- 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Peel and slice onions.

2Place in a shallow greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.

3Place a layer of Swiss cheese over the onions.

4Layer onions and Swiss cheese only once.

5Combine in a large bowl the flour, milk, salt and Tabasco sauce.

6Beat until smooth.

7Add eggs; beat again.

8Pour over the onions and cheese.

9Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
