- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pinch of cayenne
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Cover bottom of pastry shell with onion, then cheese.

2Mix flour into small amount of milk, then stir in remaining milk. Add flour and milk mixture, salt, pepper and butter to eggs.

3Mix well; pour over cheese.

4Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes, or until nicely browned and set.
