  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 or 12 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream style corn
  • 2 drops red pepper sauce

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Grease an 8-inch square pan.

    In medium skillet, melt margarine and saute onion.

    Cool.

    Add sour cream, salt and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese to the onions and set aside.
