  • 30 Club crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 c. oleo, melted
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • dash or 2 of oregano

    Mix cracker crumbs in 1/2 cup melted oleo and press into a shallow 9 to 10-inch pie plate.

    Saute onions in 1/4 cup oleo until clear.

    Pour over crust.

    Sprinkle cheese over onions.

    Mix milk, eggs and seasonings well and pour over cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until it is set like a custard.
