- 1 large onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Peel onion.

2Cut into thick slices.

3Separate into rings. Beat eggs and milk until frothy.

4Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.

5Stir until well blended.

6Pour about 1 inch of vegetable oil in skillet.

7Heat to 375°.

8Dip onion rings a few times in batter and drop into the oil.

9Fry until crisp and brown, turning once.

10Drain on paper towels.

11If batter is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons milk.
