- 1 cake or pkg. or dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 beaten egg
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add to 2 cups flour, sugar and salt.

3Knead.

4Knead in additional 1/2 cup flour.

5Let rise until doubled in size.

6Knead again.

7Roll out in rectangle.

8Add 1 small chopped onion; roll up.

9Slice about 1-inch thick.

10Rise again (about 45 minutes).

11Brush with egg and bake for 15 minutes at 425°.
