- 1 lb. peeled and sliced onions
- 2 oz. butter
- 1 tsp. turbino sugar
- 2 tsp. flour
- 2 to 3 pt. beef stock
Directions

1Melt the butter.

2Add the onions and cook for 20 to 30 minutes over a low heat, stirring occasionally.

3Stir in the sugar and flour.

4Cook another minute or two.

5Add the stock gradually, season to taste and simmer for 15 minutes.
