  • 2 cans Campbell's consomme
  • 2 medium, yellow onions, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 6 (3/4-inch) slices French roll, toasted
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.

    Add onions and saute until transparent and golden.

    Add consomme, two cans of water and the wine.

    Simmer on very low heat until ready to serve.
