  • 3 to 5 lb. brisket
  • 2 medium sliced onions
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. red sweet wine
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Season meat with salt, garlic salt and paprika.

    Place onions in bottom of roasting pan; place meat on top.

    Make sauce of remaining ingredients; pour over roast.

    Let stand about 1 hour or do day before to marinate.

    Roast at 350°, covered, for about 3 hours, basting time to time.

    Uncover the last 15 minutes to brown.
