- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 12 small carrots
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Wash and peel carrots.

2Cook in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender.

3Melt butter in a saucepan.

4Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

5Gradually add orange juice and lemon juice.

6Add to melted butter and cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

7Pour sauce over carrots.

8Serves 4.
