- 5 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 5 egg yolks
- 3/4 c. orange juice
- 2 tsp. orange flavoring
Directions

1Whip the egg whites and cream of tartar until very stiff. Sift flour and sugar together.

2Mix oil, egg yolks, orange juice and flavoring together;

3mix with flour/sugar.

4Pour this over egg whites, folding gently with a rubber spatula just until blended. Do not stir.

5Bake in ungreased tube pan at 325° for 1 hour; increase to 350° for an additional 10 minutes.

6Cool upside down. Run knife around pan to remove.
