- 6 3/8 tablespoons sugar
- 2 3/8 cups all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 5/8 cup butter softened and cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- grated lemon peel
- orange marmalade
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Combine the sugar, flour, egg, butter, baking powder, vanilla extract, and lemon peel.

2Knead the ingredients together and then shape the dough into a ball. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for approximately 15 minutes.

3Preheat the oven to 170C.

4Butter a 26 centimeter pie plate and line it with the pie crust, keeping some dough for the garnish.

5Spread the orange marmalade on the pie crust. Garnish the pie with the dough set aside earlier, placed over the filling as you like.

6Bake the pie for approximately 20 minutes.

7Remove the pie from the oven, let it cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
