  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 pkg. vanilla pie filling
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 baked pie crust

Directions

    Blend orange juice, 1/2 cup of sugar, egg yolks and pie filling together and cook slowly until thick. Let stand 10 minutes. Pour into baked pie crust. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding 2 tablespoons of sugar gradually. Spread meringue over pie. Bake in 400° oven until golden brown.
