- 1 lb. pork, cut in cubes
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
- salad oil
- 1 large green pepper, cut up
- 1/2 c. chopped carrots
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Trim excess fat from pork.

2Combine egg, 1/4 cup cornstarch, flour, 1/4 cup chicken broth and 1/2 teaspoon salt (salt optional). Beat until smooth.

3Pour salad oil 1-inch deep in electric skillet. Heat to 375°.

4Dip pork in batter and fry 5 to 6 minutes or until golden.
