- 4 to 8 thick pork chops
- pineapple rings (save juice)
- fresh mushrooms
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Brown pork chops and place in baking pan (one layer).

2Place a pineapple ring on each with a mushroom cap in center.

3In saucepan, combine pineapple juice (add water to make 2 1/2 cups), soy sauce and sugar; bring to a boil.

4Stir in 1/2 cup of water in which the cornstarch has been dissolved.

5Bring to a boil again. Pour over chops.

6Bake at 325° for 2 hours, covered.
