Ingredients
- 1 lb. cubed beef round steak
- 1 small onion (1/3 c.)
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 tsp. dried, crushed basil
- 2 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen Chinese style vegetables
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
Directions

1In Dutch oven, combine beef, onion, celery, basil, bouillon, soy sauce and 8 cups water.

2Bring to boiling.

3Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 1/2 hours; add frozen vegetables and mushrooms.

4Return mixture to boiling.

5Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

6Serves 6.
