- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 green peppers, cut in strips
- 2 lb. round or sirloin beef, cut in 1/8 x 1/2-inch strips
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Melt butter in a skillet.

2Add onions and green peppers. Saute about 2 minutes.

3Add beef and sprinkle with garlic powder. After meat browns a little, add remaining ingredients.

4Cook until meat is tender and sauce thickens.

5Serve over hot rice.
